Default Need some tire advice

I am finally going to buy new tires and I have decided they will be BF goodrich all terrains. I cant decide between 285/55/20 or the 275/65/20. The 285 is 11.7 wide and 32.5 tall.

I already have the bilstien struts and a 3 inch rear block, I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the balljoints with a 2.5 level? I also have a toolbox in the back on my truck that is pretty heavy. The ground to the center of the rear fender wells is 38 1/2 and the front measures 37 3/16. I was considering the 285/55/20 with the struts on the 1 inch setting in order to get the full use out of my extended warranty. Does anyone have pics of the 275/65/20 or 285/55/20 BF goodrich all terrains? I have a 2010 platinum and in 13 months I have put 45,000 miles on it. So I could run the factory pirelli tires during the summer if I go with the 285/55/20 and not look too bad. Thanks for the input

I prefer the 275 cause they are not as wide and I drive in snow for about 4-5 months a year. I think you will get better traction with a 275 IMO.

Just go outside and look at your tires, the factory is 275/55/20. Unless you want that with the BFGs

I have brand new Pirelli's 275/55/20 because my side walls was drying out and cracking. I had decided on Michelin's LTX AT-2, 275/60/20 before I noticed the sidewalls. I called the Pirelli service departement and they told me I could choose witch ever brand, size etc...has long as I pay the wear on my tires wich was 22% of the tread. Since I got great service from Pirelli, I told him I would stick with the originals. Check yours for cracks!!!
