Was thinking about getting an sct programmer with some ssi tunes. I know there are threads but they just go on about my tune is better than your so I'm just want to know is what do people think about the ssi tunes? Are they good? Any problems? I hear they are the best but I want to know from you guys.

Join our forum. All the info you need will be there!

Not sure what engine you have as I am on my phone. But I have a 5.0. I can't believe the difference over stock. I get better mpg and smoother shifting plus gobs of power whenever I need it. Also to note the new T5 is out and its for everyone. But the top of the line T5 tune is for eco boost engines with the new SSI/bell intercooler upgrade. I gotta wait for funds to get the T5. But I have been on board with SSI since T2 and everytime I'm left with an even bigger smile. Its the best tunes that just keep getting better! PM me if you need the forum info. I can't post it mods rules.

Most of the drama is from the drama queens that don't suck it up and get a tune.

Several members here have multiple tunes and they will attest to SSI being the best.
(Cbvet, SkiSmuggs, StrawHatShinobi and a couple others)

All I have ever had was SSI. And that's because I did my research. I called Shawn and he laid it out for me. The reviews from SSI owners and talking to Shawn was all I needed!

A tame snow and ice experience that can also unleash the eb monster if desired? A tune for the entire range of the skinny pedal? etc? There are ssi tunes that accomplish any and many of the above at the same time. For instance, I run an 87 snow and ice T4 tune and from my perspective, this is what stock should have been. I can load a t4 performance tune and roast my tires to shreds in no time flat. I also tow heavy and have an 87 tow tune that yanks my boat around as if it was significantly lighter.... My tunes are nads to the walls fun and all of my tunes are on the tame scale. My tunes are all "base tunes." If I wanted, SSI will customize any variable I desire - as long as it is safe for my truck.

Nope. Iridium plugs gapped at .030 or .028 are a must.
