Just ordered the Polk DB571's (4), got them for $100 on eBay and ordered the adapter harnesses from Amazon, $19 for 4.

Never had a vehicle with aftermarket speakers before, hope they sound good.

I'm looking adding some of the infinitys to my truck, and wondering how hard it would be to install one of these Alpine power packs and how much of an increase in volume I'd see. Looks like it has line in, so is this thing small enough to fit behind the stock HU or somewhere in the dash? Is there room back there? I've done a lot of HU installs over the years so I'm thinking this would be pretty easy for me - I don't want to deal with running power/rca cables all over the truck. Would be much easier to just install this behind the dash.

Edit: Nevermind. Looks like this has been done a lot and discussed. Searching for the particular thread right now so ignore my derail.
