Default My truck squeaks like a hamster???

Ive noticed this high pitched squeak while driving in the parking deck at school. It sounds like its coming from the rear...possibly where the cab and the bed connect. The more the truck flexes, the more it squeaks. Any idea where this annoying sound is coming from? Any one else had this issue?

Is your truck a crew cab? My 07 did just that it drove me crazy. Turned out it was the seals around the back doors. Cleaned them up and put some armorall treatment and it went away. It was very noticeable when the truck flexed I thought it was my bed also until I got in the back seat and had someone else drive. good luck!

My 2008 F250 was squealing as well. Turned out to be the tailgate. The right latch would latch on but not "lock" in place. So every bump I'd hit, the tailgate would move a little and squeal.

The fix: Just make sure that both latches were "locked". I used to just slap the tailgate up, but now I had to push in the right corner, just to make sure.

Good luck!!
