If Im following right, that's not a good deal. It appears they are selling the truck for 45,200. You have about $3500 equity in your truck and you are putting $4K down. That's roughly 37,700 plus tt&l which gets that 38500......

What is the sticker on the truck?

Never mind, I misread it. They are giving 4000 off, not you putting that down....Ok I follow.....still say its not much of a deal though

go to autotrader.com and find the dealers that are working the internet deals pretty hard and they'll smoke that deal. Put in the distance your willing to travel and price them from lowest to highest. There are some near me that are 14k off sticker.

Exactly. You are setting great in your current truck. You should be financing close to 30k.

Its an ok deal. Nothing to brag about but not terrible. But its basically a 13 bein sold at a 14 price. Dealer I buy from has an EB Fx4 Appearance package that stickers for 49500, selling for 38,300.....so Id do some more looking.

I would look into that interest rate as well. 5.99% is not good at all, and more than likely will add $60+ a month to your payments based on what I see there? I paid $45kish OTD (sticker for 52k) on my 2013 FX4 with 1.9% interest for 72 months. I used the X-plan, and had them pay off my 2011 outright, and made sure they didn't try some sneaky BS to roll over some of the amount on my other truck into the new one. I think for what others got in "huge" rebates, I made up for in lower interest rate for extended time. I pay a little more on the payments as most is going towards principle, and not interest. Some may have gotten a better deal, but with the x-plan they pretty much square the deal away right there on the paper, +incentives of course.

My advice would be to ride this out a little longer to see what they will do. If they don't call you back after letting you leave the dealership, then they are obviously trying very hard to hang onto old inventory for no particular reason. I had a dealership do that in the past, and they kept their damn truck.

this, my guess is you are seeing less rebates due to their generous value they are giving your trade-in.

they won't actually put 27k into your truck as their cost, they would never be able to sell it and make money. That may be how they draw it up on your end but my guess is its just to not show how much room they have on the one they are selling
