Thanks for all the advice. I think I might give it a try. I pressure wash my truck often so I'm not too sure about using Plasti-dip, and I read the reviews on Amazon about that Duplicolor black chrome and there are more negatives then positives. I'm going to place it on the bottom section of the tailgate but I am going to favor the bottom. Basically the same distance from the bottom of the tailgate that the "Flex Fuel" emblem is.

 

Your old dodge by the way was Siick!!!! The company I used to work for gave me an 07 Ram Laramie Sport Hemi, overall Very nice Truck, she was beat but that Heminsure was fun when it was quitting time heading back to the shop lol, I couldn't picture myself with one for DD. Luckily the company I worked for had new Rams, Silverados, superdutys so I got to drive each one which is why I ended up my FX4 (was a toss up with a Tundra) Made my decision easywhich truck I wanted lol

 

If you are getting that close with the pressure washer your already too close. Pressure washing at close distances isnt good for the paint. But its not my truck so I dont care.
