Loved the tow mirrors on my superduties. Planning in adding then to mine once an aftermarket power fold option is available.

If you plan to do some actually towing, then yeah, tow mirrors.

If you don't, well...then based only on the fact that most people have no idea how to use their mirrors to begin with (NOT A DIG AT THE OP OR ANYONE HERE) then the more mirror the better, so still tow mirrors.

If you DO know how to properly use your mirrors, the standard mirror will serve you perfectly well. HINT: If you can see your rear door handles in your mirrors, you aren't using them right

Aesthetics is what i was basing my opinion on. I feel like you need a wide stance to pull them off IMO. Especially if you're not towing they can look out of place.

I would like to think I know how to use my mirrors lol. I mean I don't see my rear handles. But I loved being able to see my rear tires in the convex lower mirror on my 08. But I'm also not going for a wider stance or anything in this like I kind of did on the 08... Idk this is all why I'm torn.

The regular mirrors look better IMO. Tow mirrors are much more useful. I loved the flip up tow mirrors on my 06 ram. The ones on my f150 not so much

Looking forward to see what you do. I had a hard time adjusting, coming from my 350's big tow mirrors, but i like the way the little guys look, on the 150's. I'd like to go with the heated/signal mirrors too. Are the correct harnesses and controls already in the STX?

From what I have read yes but I don't know for what years. They were for a 2010 so I'm hoping they are for a 2014.

Why have the dumbo ears if you don't need them?

I think the tow mirrors are horrid looking, but they serve a purpose for the R/V guys.
