Default NEED HELP!! 5.0 lost throttle, low oil pressure light

Yesterday I was driving my 2013 F150 XLT with the 5.0L, The truck has about 75,000 miles, and I lost all throttle input. Then the wrench light came on the dash then the low oil pressure light. The oil pressure gauge was pegged at L. Immediately I shut the truck off. After checking the oil, the level was good, the truck cranked but would not start. After sitting a few minutes it started up and I got it of the road. But then it would not start again. About 30 minutes later it started for the tow truck driver. The dealer can't find anything wrong. I changed the oil less than 3 days ago, motorcraft oil and filter that both checked out ok. Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks

2wd it's highly likely the throttle body is bad, 4wd could be either a xfer case issue or throttle body.

I actually had this happen one time in my 40k miles I've put on my truck. It was right after I had the truck tuned so I was extra nervous. I waited a few minutes cranked her up and she has run like a top ever since. I hope you get some good responses here as I would like to know what causes this.

The truck is 4wd but it happened in 2wd. The ford dealer said that the throttle body checked out. I just hope it dosen't happen again when I'm in the middle of nowhere going to and from school.

Well it happened again!! This time I was on the highway passing a semi when the truck lost throttle response. The wrench light came on then the battery light. After 5-10 seconds it regained power. I plugged my code scanner in and the codes for a misfire in all 8 cylinders and U0109. That is a code for loosing connection with the fuel pump module. Never shut the truck off and drove it the 2.5 hours home. After I shut the truck off it would not start until it sat for 10 minuets or so.

Possibly fuse 27 (fuel pump) going bad (burnt)?? If fuel pump cut off & engine quit, there's your low oil pressure light.

Or the fuel pump is on it's last leg. Good luck.

Default Mine did same thing

Mine did the same thing 2 days in a row, kicked check engine light this morning. Code reader showed open circuit on Fuel Pump Driver Module, just ordered new one. Let's see if that fixes the problem.

Check the the fuel pump fuse. Mine was melted and had to be replaced. The is a TSB out on the issue and the part to fix the fuse is like $20
