Yes, I have the base radio. XLT model Supercrew. That's still a good price for a complete setup. Is it still plug and play or do you have to add additonal wiring for amp/remote/inputs?

Same setup as me.

You need to run power wires to the PDU for both the sub amp and to the amp for the door speakers. Other than that, it's all plug and play with existing harnesses. Now you still need to run all the new harnesses in the right side sill and in the dash, but it doesn't get much easier.

Read up in the thread as many have given tips, etc. and there's a few other threads about it floating around here as well.

I opted for the kicker setup. Install is a total breeze compared to a full aftermarket system and the improvement for the money is very tough to beat. I usually have systems where one amp is worth more than the full upgrade, and in this case and keeping some money in my wallet was well worth it for how nice the kicker setup sounds.

I have kits for the base model radio as well, just currently out of stock. PM me your name and number and I will put you on my call list for when they get back in stock. Should be another week or so. Thanks.

Yup, can't beat this setup. Inexpensive, and easy to install. Sounds great.

I replaced all 4 door speakers with Polk Audio and that brought the high's/mids alive then added the kicker sub. Just right.

Amazon.com : Polk Audio DB571 5-by-7-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair, Black) : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Polk Audio DB571 5-by-7-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair, Black) : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics

Marine grade so when the eventual water gets in the doors as it will, they can handle it.

These
Amazon.com : Metra 72-5600 Speaker Adapter for Select Ford Vehicles : Coaxial Car Speakers : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Metra 72-5600 Speaker Adapter for Select Ford Vehicles : Coaxial Car Speakers : Car Electronics
make the speakers plug-n-play, no splicing.

The fitment thing on Amazon is wrong, they will fit your truck.
