Need Advice on 50K Mile Maintenance
Front diff gets used so little, I have only changed mine once at 150k, per the manual. Rear I've done at 100k, twice so far. Same 100k for transfer case.
There are air sensors and the throttle body that should be checked somewhat regularly for cleaning. But, that may not be what that "De-Carb Service" actually is, even though it ought to be. On most of these engines, it's pretty easy to do this yourself, although I'm not sure about the 6.2.

Like the Harley! She's Sharp! I have an '11 Lariat Supercrew with the 6.2. She's at about 112,800 miles. She's been Awesome. Two years ago while I was at the dealer getting an oil change, I got an estimate for a plug and wire change. Truck was at about 105,000 miles then. Being on disability with no disposable cash, it's taken me this long to finally get the money together by selling things around here, mostly what was left of my Dad's gun collection and car parts in the basement. Got enough now to do the plugs and wires, plus the serpentine belt, transmission service, 4x4 transfer case fluid change, and both differentials. The rear differential's fluid was changed back in 2017 when the diff cover developed a leak. First they're gonna do the plugs and wires, and the belt. If no problems develop, i.e., busted coil mount bolt, etc., they will procede with the rest. I only have so much money, ya know...It's scheduled for this Monday.
