Default My Review of the 2011 Ford F-150

Ok, so it's a shameless plug, but I just got around to posting the review (and close to 50 pictures) of my 2011 Lariat EcoBoost Scab!

http://www.road-reality.com/2011/12/...oboost-lariat/

Check it out, and let me know what you think.

Thanks,

-John

Decent write up...you ought to post it on Epinions.com and get a "little pay" for your review.

Here are mine:

Not a big deal but every few months I get a check for about $25.00 for views.

From your write up.

" If there’s anything to complain about, it’s the transmission, as I mentioned above, but nothing that I’ve seen so far has required a dealership visit."

Give it some time and you'll see the dealer.

Good write up though, but would be more interesting if you gave a more detailed drive report. Like power and handling in everyday situations.

RRF150 - you're so right! Shame on me for editing late at night! I just added my driving impressions back in, right after I talk about the EcoBoost engine.

FordEver - I know what you mean! I remember driving a 2010 Lariat Screw, and I greatly prefer the truck I have, even though the 2010 was really nice!

DieselDawg - thanks, but I'll stick to my own web site - it's a good idea though, and especially helpful for people who don't want to maintain their own site.

Thanks,

-John

Good review. I like the numerous photos - something that a lot of reviews really lack.

Thanks - I like to put pictures in my reviews that cover all the high spots of the vehicle, noteworthy details and really nice sight lines. The F-150 has all 3 in abundance!

As an update, here's my comparison of the 2011 F-150 to the 2011 GMC Sierra:

And my review of the 2011 GMC Sierra SLE, if anyone wants to see it:

Rather than create a new thread, I'm reviving this one...

I've had my truck exactly 9 months today, so I posted another update on my web site:
http://www.road-reality.com/2012/07/...t-42012-72012/

Also, if anyone here wants to submit some pics of their truck and write-ups of their experiences, following my Owner's Log format, feel free to email me with them! PM me for my personal email (I think there are bots that stroll through here and try to grab email addresses for spam purposes).

Thanks,

-John

So, I'm dredging up this old thread because as of today, I've owned my F-150 a year!

Here's a write-up I did of my experience with the truck so far:

Thanks,

-John
