First, handsome truck!!
Also, that background scenery could pass for many areas of California!
As to the MPG; I learned with the addition of larger, heavier, tires (35" Toyos) it was a trade-off between the look I liked and the optimum MPG.
Also, some of it could be due to calibration of the odometer with the larger rubber; but the weight alone will rob you of a few MPG.
And then, with the EB, most likely you have the tendency to dip into the boost; which would make a significant MPG difference too?

Nice truck! Looks good!
I'm in the same boat! 12-13mpg on average lately. Speedometer is spot-on with my 33" Toyo MT's and 3.73's.
I know you all think it's funny, cause all you guys are used to GASOLINE engines.
I came from two Dodge Cummins diesels in a row which still returned 18mpg highway, 15 city regularly with 35" Toyo MT's and 3.73's.
I was sold on the Ecoboost hype until I had one. I thought it would be more efficient than a V-8. Looking back I'd get a 5.0. I don't see a benefit to a boosted gas V-6. I think a 5.0 would get better mileage because it has to work less to maintain the same speed (say 70mph) compared to a boosted six.
