I was actually looking for an in depth review of the 400 exhaust. Looking to maybe splurge for Christmas. Lol. How long would you say it took to break in with the drone going away?

Once u go 90 days, they won't lose kickback from selling the Ford Loan. So, since April and now is December and ive not been informed by Ford of a penalty.

The penalty isnt going to go to you, the dealership will get charged back that amount . you are all clear, i happen to work for my dealership though and the sales manager would put his shiny little white collar dress shoe in my *** if they got charged back since they made no money off the employee sale in the first place

Install is super easy especially if you have access to a lift and still doable without one. Buttttt the drone hasnt completely gone away, at least in the drivers seat it hasnt, like i said you cant hear a thing on the pass side, but right on 2 grand rpms you have not so much a drone but it seems like pressure on your left ear from the system. id think its because instead of being on top of the exhaust like the pass side, the sound waves are coming at an angle to the window and back to the ear. Not sure. I suppose i could keep trying to tune with the j pipe but i think its fine, with the radio on you barely notice and in the summer time (or if you can ever get it warm enough in the winter) to have the window down you dont notice it either

if you have any question lemme know. also if you are shying away from it remember you can call and get it with the mach 46 instead, supposed to be the same great sound but let volume going through it

Have you tried dynamat or something similar to take away the drone? I can understand the pressure waves bugging you from the drone. I honestly thought this was the best sounding exhaust from the Stage3 videos. Not too much raspiness and the right amount of grunt for me.

not familiar with dynamat? ill have to look into it
as for the sound, ive already had a handful of praise from strangers on the sound, definitely sounds like muscle running down the road, great at idle, went through a parking garage tonight and that was pretty great for me, not so much the elderly women passing by i simply cant believe with the sound at WOT the when you are cruising theres no sound in the cab

Dynamat and similar products are usually used for vibration dampening like what comes along with louder sound systems. It's also used for restomods on the floor to keep the cabin quieter. Goes under the carpet usually and behind the door panel.

That might actually be useful depending on the cost of the materials for the door and floor
