Yes there were initially two trucks pulling in tandem but after the first pull it looks as if the strap breaks on the red truck and at the end of the video you can clearly see that the one truck did the work.

Let us not forget the real hero in this story - the guy in the explorer.
Had he not pulled up to give hand signals, that semi would probably still be there.

I tried about a year ago to pull my semi out with my '89 F150 4X4 Lo 300/6 ... Didn't work ... Bent the hook ... Of course the bobtail you pulled out was only about 17,000 pounds ... I had parked my semi with a loaded trailer next to my house, it then Rained about an inch, all the rain came off the roof and pooled up around my truck on the right side ... That night I had to go deliver my load it was about 54,000 pounds, and my right side tires were sunk in about 3"-4" before I started ... I buried the drive axles on my semi ... I then got my wife to run my F150 ... Eventually I had a neighbor with a bobtail, yank and spin on pavement to finally get out!

I think some video editing took out the strap to the second truck. One truck or two it's still a good pull besides using the ball, that could have ended badly.
