Default My FX2 is finally done!!!!!

We started on this in late June. Got hung up on other work but finally finished it labor day weekend. Still needs wet sanded and buffed to remove orange peel but the hard part is done.

We used house of kolor brandywine candy on one side and hok oriental blue kandy on the other, both sprayed over a base of orion silver. We added some hok pavo purple and orion silver for the tread plate and root beer candy streaked to give it a darker look. The black flame were outlined in synergy green. We smoked the lights, reflectors and emblems using a reduced black and cleared it along with the truck. The mirrors, step bars and front end parts were primered and painted black. The truck was cleared with 8 coats of Dupont Chromaclear.

My friend has done the cobalt blue candy before but I thought it seemed too dark for my taste so I tried the oriental blue. I think it pops more.

I'm not a huge fan of it but the workmanship looks top notch. It's still impressive work.

Quality of work looks top notch. Definitely not my sort of thing, but if you are into that I'd say you nailed it.

The quality of work looks excellent, I wouldn't do it to my truck but it does look pretty cool.
