My first negative post
and it has zero to do with the truck. Went to local Ford dealer today to have Ford's OEM mudflaps installed. They had three sets of the ones designed for the FX wheel lip moldings. Well 45 minutes goes by and the service guy says, trucks all done and the mudflaps look great. Pay the dealer 130.00 for parts, labor, and tax and drive home. Get out of truck and this is what I found. Nice scratches huh.
It is obviously being replaced Monday but the point is the clown at the dealership who looked at the mudflap and saw the scratches and still installed on my new truck. I happen to know the owner and asked the service manager if he would of put these scratched ones on the owners (Gary Nelson) new truck? He looked like a deer in headlights.

Why all the hate on the guy for wanting his brand new mudflaps not to be scratched up? So what if they will get scratched up anyway in the coarse of normal use? New means new - no scratches.

Yes they are mud flaps and they will get scratched and dinged up. That's why they are there. But he's upset at the fact that ford installed scratched up parts on his truck. I'm assuming he's more pissed off at customer service than anything. It's understandable, you pay for something new and you expect it to be in perfect condition.
