Heres something that i don't understand about all these trolls. The only difference between a EB equipped with a 3.55 vs one with the 3.73 is the ratios and the ratios only. The brakes, hitch, tranny, frame etc. is all the same. SO the only difference is acceleration and fuel economy. If you get the HD package then you have some differences. He's just as safe as a 3.73. He has a load leveling trailer so theres not a lot of tongue weight. He also has trailer brakes which depending on what they are and how big they are can be more powerful than the trucks breaks. So please stop trolling on some guy who's just trying to use his truck for what it was built for.

Good job putz. You accomplished 2 amazing feats in one post
1. Showed everyone how foolish you are by posting incorrect info regarding packages available on the F150 EB. Fact is you cannot buy a max tow EB with 3.55. WIth 3.73 you can. Introduce Max tow and radiator is different, hitch is different, springs are different.
2. Showed eveyrone how you lack common understanding of what a troll is. Ill be happy to post a deffinition.
Troll: A new member with a low post count whos purupose on the forum is simply to cause disruption by posting incorrect information. <//==--- Wait a minute...... Thats you.

One of the main reasons for reduced weight due to higher gear ratio is your transmission. The higher rear gear ratio on the rear end WILL put more strain on the clutches in the trans.,and in every gear. It's not that the truck won't haul or tow the weight,it's that the trans. has more of a load.
