Assistance with Dealer they wont provide truck
I hate to ask but I need assistance. On June 28, 2013 Itraded in my 2012 Ford FX4 for a 2013 Platinum.
The dealership Keith Hawthorne Ford of Belmont, NC wrotea due bill to move my front lights, bar, bed cover and corner strobes andinstall AVS Inchannel vent visors, tint windows and install leveling kit andchange tire from FX4 to platinum per the deal. They stated it would be done onJuly 3rd, on July 3rd I had to call continuously to onlyfind it would be Saturday the 6th. The 6th came and againI had to call and call, then finally on July 13 they finally said truck wasready. I went to pick up the truck and it looked like a kid tinted the windowsthe door was all scratched, wiring was a joke, the headlight and tail lightswere scratched and grease on interior and no vent shades. The truck wasunacceptable to even try and fix. They stated they would get me another truck Iwaited until Thursday night july 18 to stop in and they had not even found atruck. They started to look that night and stated it would be in Friday and allthey had to do was change the tires over and a check would be cut for me tofind time to finalize installing all the other items on my own time. It is nowSaturday, July 20, 2013 and they will not return calls, the internet salesmanager threatened to meet me in the parking lot for getting upset on the phoneand sounding aggrevated. I am asking any all that will send an email to tgordon@keithhawthorneauto.com

I have contacted my local news today and will be doinginterviews on Monday. Please help….. who is that... I need any help at this point. I am in limbo. Payment due in 7 days and I dont even have a truck...

On the forums section there is a ford customer service forum from what Lenn said the lady that looks there is a ford motor company rep. Her name is ashely.
I would defiantly go in there and demand the owner of the dealer ship and wouldn't leave without a new truck and threaten a lawyer. There are plenty of lawyers I am sure that would love to fight them on the matter. But that is totally ridiculous to be threatened by a manage like that. Wish I was a lawyer I would tear them a new one.
If the refused to help in would start telling customers what they did while your there nothing hurts more than ruining business for them.

Did you finance it through Ford? Maybe calling them and let them know you have never taken possession on the vehicle and see if they can help you figure out where the new truck is.

Ford Credit... I have a call out to them, I have payment due in 7 days. My frustration is beyond words. My old truck is in dealers name due to trade so I own no truck but have a payment due on new one I don't have! I am staring to feel like Ghost in the machine.. Out in the cold.

Officially speaking, have you taken delivery yet ?
If you have, you have an unfulfilled contract (who would pay on that?) That's called 'breach'.
If you haven't, then simply cancel the whole deal and go somewhere else to get your truck.
I wish you the best of success; and yes, absolutely call Ford Customer service (anybody and everybody you can get hold of). Remember: "the squeaky wheel gets the grease"
