I have to say thanks again, to my new buddy Joeseph W./TuxedoBlack for helping me out on my ambient lighting! All done and working great, I installed blue leds in the footwells and console cup holder in my 2012 XLT, and even a white led inside the cupholder, and glovebox, both are those are on depression switches! Why didnt Ford do that for us??? Everything was under 100.00 installed!!! Id post pics but what a PIA on here...

I really like this and want to add it to my Christmas list but I really wish that there was an actual link to the parts used. Can anyone link to the parts they purchased? There seem to be a lot of options on these sites.

Edit: Looks like this might be it:

Default Ambient Lighting

Here is what my 2013 looks like. I placed single bulb LED into each cup holder. 1 strip under each side of dash and 1 strip under each seat. Looks pretty good. I think I would like the rope lights to line my cup holders but not bad for under 50 bucks.

Agreed, that looks very cool

Not sure if i ever answered the question but this is the light kit that I used for this setup...I've since moved on to just adding my own LED strips and wiring
