More details please...
  • How much? Also, how much for installation?
  • Where do you load DVD? Front slot or in each unit?
  • How does the audio work? Through headsets or through truck speakers?
  • Can you listen to music while kids watch movies?
  • Can each screen show a different show?
  • How are you watching on the dash screen?
  • Did they sell you replacement head rests? Or did you have to cut up your factory headrests?

I bought the units at headrestvideo.com and cost $1400 and $160 for installation. I was given a quote at Ford and cost $2300 including installation. Also, ford could not tell me if their units could be connected to an auxiliary. In my units the DVD is loaded on top of each unit. You can watch a movie in one monitor and another movie in the other, or you can watch the same movie on both monitors. They came with wireless headphones and if the children are using the headphones the adults can listen to the radio, cd, digital music, etc. My units are connected to the auxiliary on my center console that has audio and video in, and that is why I can watch the movie on my dash monitor, but it can only be seen on the dash if the truck is in parking. The best part of having the units connected to the auxiliary is that I dont have to use fm transmitter to listen the movie on the trucks speakers. This way the audio is better and if traveling far, dont have to change a good fm channel available. I was sold replacement headrest and I still have the undamaged original headrest at home.

brossyvega,

Could you please list part numbers too? Thanks for the price info. I would really love to do this for my truck.
