Default JLT oil separator updated

Just got this email from JLT. If anyone bought this kit from a vendor other than JLT you may not have rec'd this info, so I'm passing it along...sorry it's not the cleanest copy/paste

Tons going on as far as JLT Oil Separators go, like more applications, improved filtering and updated positions.
First we need to tell you about the New Improved filters used on some of our kits.
The following kits will be on back order while the new filters are being produced. They are due in by the end of this month, Oct. So only 2 weeks or less.
Very important as this does NOT affect all kits.
Separators affected:
2007-14 GT500 driver & passenger
2011-14 GT driver only
2003-04 Mach I
2005-10 GT driver only
2010+ 6.2 F-150
What we found:
While the filtering used in the separators worked, we saw it working much better in cases where the air and oil flowed IN to the filter side first.
On kits such as the 5.0 & V6 passenger side, the oil collection is amazing and the internet is full of customers pics of collected oil, but on the GT500 passenger side it was noticeably less.
After months of testing several different types of filtering media we have the perfect set up for our separators.
What we have:
An all new metal mesh filter has been designed for the smaller hole. The PCV draws oil and air through the filter first, forcing it to grow into larger heavy drops and drop into the separator.
Made from 60 mesh it has 0 restriction, but tons of surface area for oil to collect and drop.
The results:
Our separator will hold exactly 1.5oz of oil, that's filled to the intake and exit holes. We were able to introduce 1.25 oz of oil and hold it with the engine running and a full 1.5oz before any came out.
Not only did we conducted this ON ENGINE extreme test, we also have documented driving results as well, check out the video and pics below.
What we are doing for our customers?
We can't thank you all enough for supporting us during all these tests by competitors and our product being copied. We will be sending 500 filters FREE of charge to any JLT customer. Just email Admin@JLTtruecoldair.com a copy of your invoice (from any JLT dealer) showing you have a separator that is affected and the parts will be shipped at no charge.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but with 3 known JLT knock offs out there we have to be sure they are going to our customers. If you ordered direct we will have your info, just ask.
Purchased it used or don't have the invoice?
We are offering the filters at cost for only $6.95 each shipped.
To pre order online and pay, go to JLT Mesh filter
When will they be ready and how do we order:
Filters are in production and are due to arrive the end of the month and ship out to you the first week in Nov.
To get on the free list, Email admin@JLTtruecoldair.com a copy of your invoice (most dealers have it on file, so getting it should be no problem) and your full name and mailing address.

Thanks for the info, we have one on our 13 GT passenger side and it works as advertised. Looks like I'm not affected anyway.

I just got a reply from JLT and they say mine is not one of the affected units. Judging by my invoice it looked like it was, guess not.
