ordered my 2012 Lariat on June 4, dealer says build date will be July 9 and xepect delivery end of july

Mine doesn't either. I believe they put the Monroney stickers up about a week before production. I figure they should be up next week maybe.

I still haven't seen any builds for the week of July 16th, I wonder what is going on there. I have seen the 9th and the 23rd.

The guy at my dealership is really nice and gave me a good price, but he doesn't know jack when it comes to ordering vehicles. I ordered on May 31 and he told me a week later that the truck would be built on June 25...on June 26 I was finally able to see Window Sticker and a build date of July 9. I asked him about it and he said the truck was delayed....but Im not buying that. Now he says they show a delivery date of Aug 6? For a truck to be built on July 9? That doesn't sound right. 4 weeks for delivery?

Well, my parade was rained on today! Ordered 6/25/12, was told I would see it around early August, but currently it's scheduled for 9/10/12 delivery. Such a long wait! Worth it though I guess!

Ordered on 6/21. It was scheduled on 7/3 for 8/13 built date to be delivered on 9/3 (estimated). My dealer said he had three orders for September delivery including mine which pushed his stock orders back when I asked him about his allocation status. I have no idea how much of it is accurate but I don't think there is anything he can do besides trying not to **** me off. If I were to be able to find one, I would cancel the order since it is one of the things we agreed that if the order is not fulfilled by the end of July as he stated, I have the option to cancel my order.
I found one which is almost identical but the color is black. I don't want another black after my last one so I am not going for it. I will sit tight and wait.

Well make sure ya'll call Ford for true updates. My dealer still says no update and they expect it around Aug6, but when I called Ford last week they said "in transit" with a dealer delivery date of July 24.

Yeah, dealers RARELY have current info or even care. They wait for the truck to show up and drop it off before they do anything.

I ordered my 2011 Mustang and had to educate the dealer on how to track an order. "In transit" could mean many, many things. It could mean that it's sitting on a ramp (parking lot) in Dearborn. Or it could mean it's actually on a train (in which case it can be tracked). But "in transit" is definitely a good sign.

A ten week wait is not uncommon for Ford. I ordered my Mustang in mid-April and got mine on June 22nd.

What baffles me is that I can track an $8 pizza from Dominos but I can't track a $30k+ vehicle from Ford as easily.
