Raptors have a beefy suspension which is where they add performance increase over the rest of the line. You Raptorized the appearance, have you also upgraded the performance?

You must have missed post #2, my truck has been dubed "Raptur Lite" and no need to upgrade performance it's an ecoboost.

I agree, 2" front and 3" rear block would be perfect - wheel wells look a little "stuffed" right now.

The wheel wells are most definately "stuffed" full of tire and that is the look I was after. As long as there are no rubbing issues for the type of driving that I do I'll probably leave it stock. I don't plan on doing any rock crawling or rough trails at present but that could change tomorrow and if so I would probably need to level. It is to early to say for sure as I simply have not driven it enough to make that call.

What size tires did you go with? How do you like stepping in and out with those running boards?

The tires are LT315/70R17 and they are 34.5 inches tall, so about 2.5 inches taller than stock. As far as getting in and out of the truck with these running boards, not much different than with standard boards. Step up on the board first getting in or out, that way I don't drag my fat rump on and off the side of the seat. Trying to train the wife to do the same and I better leave that right there.

LOL, no the price on these 2011's was to good to pass up and I only had to drive to Tulsa to get them. How are the boards working out for ya? Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
