Default My 1st Ford

I finally got around to detailing my truck today. Wash, Clayed, and Waxed! After only owning Dodges, I switched to the F150 to get the Crewcab with the 6.5' bed. I ordered a 2012 Lariat SCrew Ecoboost in November and took delivery in March. So far Ive been nothing but happy with my purchase.

Here is the truck the day I got it

Ive since added the following mods:

Front windows and full windshield tint
Line-X Bed liner
Weathertech Floormats, Mudflaps, and License Plate Cover
HD Heads and Tails (w/ painted edges)
Matte Black 4x4 emblem
Removed Ecoboost Badge
Removed Front license plate

Here is the truck today

I have an ARE Z series camper shell, AMP powersteps, rugged wheel well liners, and a SYNC Lock pick all on order. Hopefully they arrive by this week. And one of these days Ill get around to adding the USB2 and an LED in the center console bin.

I plan on getting BF Goodrich All-Terrian T/A KO tires and new rims eventually. It depends on the tire size I get if I decide to install Bilstein 5100's up front.

Looks great! Pics like yours make me really question my decision to go with the 5.5' bed. They both look so great, and both have pros and cons.

Nice truck, HD heads and tails look great on a black truck. And I'm kinda partial to 6.5 beds anyway.

It's a hack for the Nav/DVD player to allow DVD viewing while in drive, rear view camera can also be viewed during drive.

Looks great! I'd put a sort of grill in the opening of the bumper and paint the grille black too!

Your truck looks great! The HD heads and tails really make a difference. They should be standard equipment on all F-150's IMO....
The windshield tint would get you pulled over in a second by the first state trooper encountered in WI.
