Lmfao! I had the smallest SI/DO muffler they made which is a 13inch case I believe? Looks like I might have too man up and get for a cat back true dual Any muffler that you'd recommend for this?

Cat back true dual won't really make a sound difference. Here's a link to what you need.

Tips are over rated.

I can vouch for drone with Magnaflows around 1500-1900 rpm! I swear some days it seems the exhaust is LOUDER inside the cab than outside. FWIW I got the 18 inch sido and had a muffler shop do custom pipes = 3 inch from cat back with resonator delete and ran the tips side-by-side out back to look like the Roush system.

Never had drone with Magnaflows. Drone is different from sound. The drone is this weird sound that's hard to describe.

I have magma flow SI/DO coming out right behind the tire in the stock location and it drones pretty bad on the highway.

Ride in a truck with flowmaster 40's and then get back into your truck and you will know what drone is.

I had a Flow 50 for exactly one day. The drone was just too much. I decided to switch to the 70. I still get drone but it is acceptable. Understated and strong, is how I would characterize it. Get on it and it sound great. Cruise and it is just a smooth baritone. People that ride with me say,"this isn't the stock exhaust is it?"

I just recently had exhaust work done on my 5.0 FX4. I simply ordered a Borla XR 1 (15.5" L, 3" in and out, and round at the suggestion of the forum) muffler and took it to a local shop. Talked to the guy there and he installed it for $80 using all the stock pipes. Borla's cat back system was something like $1,100. I got pretty much the same thing for less than $250. Not sure what the difference would have been had I gone with the full Borla cat back system. I already had the muffler and the stock pipes are nearly identical to the pipes included in the Borla system. Been loving it. About to delete the resonator too.

AFE SS. This is what I have. No drone and sounds like a truck but not enough to give you a headache. I had Magnaflow and Flowmaster and they do not compare to the AFE. You can find them reasonably priced as well.
