Muffler Confusion
So i'm looking too put a new exhaust on my truck. I narrowed down too which muffle I want. While deciding, I saw their was two types. So my question is..whats the difference? Will one give me a better tone and more aggressive sound? Any help would be great... thanks!

I got a buddy who will put a muffler and bend everything a lot cheaper and make it a lot neater so that's why I'm going this route. I noticed they have different 40 series. This delta, an American thunder and just a reg. any difference in those sound wise?

There's no quality comparison, the Magnaflow is the better built muffler, however as you know it gives that straight through sound, not the low rumble of a flowmaster. Flows tend to drone at highway speeds though.

Your other option with Magnaflow is a Magnapack, which has no batting to deaden the sound, or get a shorter muffler. My mustang isn't loud at idle but when she picks up and roars, it scares little kids and makes panties wet.
