Default mud flap question

I have the 2010 plat ed, and I need to get mud flaps. I've been looking at several aftermarket ones, and haven't found anything that looks nice. I think I'm going to go with the factory molded ones. I called the dealer, and they said it would be somewhere around $100-$120 installed. I have found them online for about half that, but don't know (and I know this may sound dumb) how to tell if i need the ones for fender flares or not.

Here's my questions.

How can I tell if I have flares? It's completely stock if that helps.
Does anyone have any opinion or pics of these flaps?

The issue I'm trying to solve is to keep the running boards from becoming as slippery and dirty.

I appreciate the help.

Well if you have any kind of plastic trim around your fender well. then you have fender wells. I don't know for sure but I think the plat comes standard w/them. I installed my own no problems

I also bought from Weathertech. Didnt want to drill into the vehicle and had seen good reviews of them. I like them. Havent had crud slung up all over my running boards nor onto the back.

Just wondering why you decided to go weather tech over factory?

Husky flaps here. And flares. They do require holes to be drilled, front and rear. Unless you have an angle/stubby drill, you have to remove the rear tires to get the holes drilled. There is also the challenge on the rear that there are 2 layers of metal that the screws need to go through, and when you tighten the screw, it collapses the 2 layers, so a few peeps (me too) added some washers between the layers to keep the seperation.

After drilling the holes, debur them, touch up with some rust paint and shoot some silicone seal in the hole to water proof and lock-tite the screws.

Me? The less I have to deal with the local Ford dealership... the better.

Bought the Ford flaps for $56 CDN for all 4 and they went on really easy. Used all the factory holes. They perform the function they were intended to do! I can take a pic and show them if you want to see them. Just let me know.

Not a great picture but here are the Ford flaps. Cost about $90.
