Check your coolant level.

Letting the chemical out of the A/C system is not the answer.

Might not be a law in his country on letting the Freon out, I make that assumption based on their command of the English language.

You have taken the wrong approached to resolve your issue and now have another issue to deal with next spring, as you say.

First, tell us where you are located? Some operation of fans on high is normal depending upon lots of variables and to protect your truck. Is your condenser clean, radiator? Was your system properly charged?? Was your ac operating correctly? Was your coolant level correct?

When mine did this, the dealer replaced a relay and the dual fan set and the issue stopped.
