Default Rough Country 3" kit?

Any one on here installed this lift yet? It's the spacer, UCA rear shocks, and blocks. Is it worth it for $500?

While the new uca will help keep those angles still usable, your tie rods, cv joints (if 4wd) will still be way beyond severe.

Go with a 2” spacer max or if you need more, go with the 4” full suspension lift.

Mine is getting installed as we speak. I'll be sure to follow up with ride quality, etc.

Beautiful truck! Can't wait to see it with the lift and the specs of the lift.

I looked at this setup, but as previously stated, the rest of the front end components will be way beyond their desired range. I keep my trucks for awhile, so the $500 saved by not buying the 4" lift will must likely be spent replacing these parts down the road.

i think the "Extreme Angle" conversation has been well documented over the past years, however, I haven't seen many posts, if any, relating to this damage wise.

My my truck doesn't see dirt, and for my budget, desired stance and driving habits this fit the bill. I wouldn't say anything looks "extreme" but it sure isn't stock. Another thing that made me wary of the 4" was cutting and welding. Is it a better design, sure, but I wanted the abilility to take the spacers out and go back stock if I ever wanted to.

Overall the the ride is a more firm, but by no means rough. I wasn't expecting a stock plush ride with these tires.

As as long as you enjoy what you got, who cares!

There is no welding with the 4" lift. Cutting was minimal and who really returns their truck back to stock after a lift? The only reason you would is because the ride was too harsh which is not the case with the 4". My ride is exactly like stock. Also, if you are going to do any major off road you should not be getting a Rough Country lift
