Alright, I think I've decided on the X4 with 5* tunes. My question now is what tunes do I get? 3.5 Ecoboost, mostly highway and city driving. I pull my 3500 lb boat about 30-40 miles to the lake. Suggestions?

I think it comes with 3 tunes, and additional ones are $10 more. $10 is pretty cheap IMO, so get whatever ones you think you might be interested in and try them all out.
Unless you absolutely do not want to pay for high octane fuel. In that case I recommend not getting any tunes with 91/93 octane, because if you try them out I promise you'll be hooked!
Here is my take from my small experience with tuning:
My first set of tunes was with 5star and I was not overall as impressed as I thought I would be. I got their 87 perf/tow tune, 91 perf/tow tune, and 91 perf tune. Part of my issue was that my living room is at 6500' above sea level where I only have 80% of sea level air density and I can drive up to 11,000 feet within about 30 minutes. The 5star tunes felt very strong up to about 3500 RPM and then would fall on their face after that and felt basically like stock. Throttle response and tip in is great on the 5star tunes and they are really enjoyable to daily drive with but they just didnt pull hard when you really laid into it. I went to them to see if they could open them up a little and they basically said, it is what it is. I think they are just conservative in their tuning.
After that I went to Torrie at unleashed, told him how I was feeling, and he got me some tunes that felt much better up top while still offering the solid low end. His customer service is top notch and he did several data logs as well as revised the throttle tip in once. I will say though that I like the throttle profile of 5stars tunes better, I also havent made much effort to work on it with Torrie so that is my fault more than the tunes.
I recently bought a 5500 lb travel trailer and towed it 6 hours each way this weekend. On the way up I was on the Unleashed 91 Tow tune and it did decent, but when I got to our destination I could only get 90 octane fuel and so I flashed to my 87 Octane 5star tune. I really liked how the 5star tune pulled. Since the throttle tip in is more aggressive it made the truck feel like it wasnt pulling an extra 5500 lbs off the line at stop lights. I would say that the shifting was better as well. It held gears longer when getting up to speed in tow/haul mode. It would tend to stay in 4th gear a bit longer before going to 5th and 6th. It also kicked down to 5th at a lower threshold it seemed like which seemed to lower IATs based off my datalogging on the X4.
So moral of the story: 5Star for daily driving and towing, Unleashed for performance.
Looks like impressive numbers, but they seem off. The torque value in lb-ft does not equal the corresponding hp value at 5250. Am I misreading the chart?
