Default MPT Tuning... Ready to pull the trigger!

I have 2014 3.5 Max Tow w/ 6.5 bed sucks down gas. After watching several MPT tuning customers on YoutTube I am ready to give this a try. I have a buddy who says everyone who tunes their EB ends up regretting this. Is this anyone else's experience? I am sure when I get it I will run it hard just to see differences but over all just wanting little more power and more MPG even if its a little. I think I am going to do the plugs as well as I have heard when tuned to go from .30 -32 to .28. Anyway, any information on this or feedback is appreciated!

Looking to do street 91, race 91 and tow 91. Thanks in advance

I don't regret tuning my EB truck at all. I wouldn't run it now without the tune. I run a tune and a pedal commander. The tune gives better power, but the pedal commander has more of a butt dyno feel to it.

I would suggest waiting a week until black friday/cyber monday deals come out. They have had good deals in the past.

Your buddy is the only person I've ever heard that regrets tuning their EB. And you should probably drop the gap to .28 .028 even without a tune.

^ I have a 2014 3.5Ecoboost F150. I Just SCT Canned tuned last week w/93octane. Made a pretty nice difference over stock.
Changed the plugs first. I am ordering 2 custom tunes tomorrow 93 PRX and 93 TOW from MPT. I suspect it will also make an improvement over the stock canned tunes.
I only regret not doing this sooner. I plan on keeping my truck at least another 2 years.

It makes it fun to drive
I use the tow tune right now
the street tune makes the gas peddle to touchy and shift hard

yeah I’m gonna do custom right away ans they are having a sale currently so makes decision easy.

how much mpg are people gaining when they drive regular. Especially freeway it’s. I think with tunes and plugs she’ll really wake up. Let’s put it this way when I’m going far I’ll take my old duramax. Thanks for all the input gents!

I lost mpg or stayed very similar. Probably lost more when I installed my pedal commander...but it is just too much fun.

Don’t get fooled by mpg increases. If you use higher octane, sure your mpg may go up, but it’s not because of the tune.

Different engine here but MPT tuned since 2013 and I'll never drive another vehicle that's NOT custom tuned. You won't regret it that much is certain.

On other question. Does everyone run a catch can and is there like a clear best manufacture? Is everyone just running the factory recommended plugs?
