Default Moved from an EcoBoost to a 5.0 --- maybe not what you think!

We recently got back from an extended camping trip (our 3rd multi thousand mile trip in the last 4 years), and when we got home, my wife and I decided we were done camping and towing.........for a lot of different reasons.
We quickly sold our TT for a full price offer, and the only real reason we owned a truck was to tow our TT all over the US.
We got a terrific deal on both trading the truck in and this beauty:

Between selling the TT and the truck, we own the Stang and put a bunch of $$'s in the bank. ...............so I guess this is a bitter sweet goodbye to this Forum. Everyone here has been great, and I certainly have enjoyed contributing as well.

We absolutely agree......by the time you get 8 mpg getting there while towing, and get charged $50 or more a night for the camp ground, a B and B or a hotel starts to sound pretty good. And you don't have to listen to a campground full of people, drunks, kids, dust, mud, wind, filthy bathrooms and showers where you are afraid to let your feet touch......etc. etc.....

I'm one of those drunks and so are my friends, but we know this so thats why we go far away lol

Sweet ride! I hope to get one in the next few years as a summer toy.

Congrats! Love the look of the new Mustangs and a 5.0 is what I would get.

There are rumors that the 5.0 in the Mustang may be gone by 2017. I would hate to see that. As of right now, ours was the ONLY 5.0 GT Premium convertible that our dealer got for the entire 2015 model year!
They are pushing the 2.0 Ecoboost really hard as by far and away, most of the Premiums in stock are the EB's. The 5.0 'verts are not too easy to find here. And, you can't even order leather or the Premium packages with the V6 anymore.

Thanks. It's called "Guard"......I have no idea why Ford called dark green metallic that name (maybe National GUARD green??)....We wanted a color that was going to be a little more subtle than some others, but everyone still wants to race me. The 5.0 GT definitely has a reputation, but I guess with a sub 13 second 1/4 mile time, it is pretty well earned. The car is effortlessly quick!
