I had the exact same experience for both my 2014 F-150 and my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Local parts stores don't even list filters for either and tell me they are "dealer items."

The only vendors carrying filters for either vehicle seemed to be Fram -- and I am not a Fram fan. After 'net research, I found the part numbers and have gotten them from online merchants.

Have no idea why the aftermarket is so slow to list parts for late model vehicles.

My local Advance Auto Parts, and Walmart both carry that filter. The problem with Advance is the people up front only know how to look up year make and model, so when you give them a part number, which should make it so much easier, they just don't know what it is or how to look it up. I would go back there, and just walk over to the oil filter section and look through the Motorcraft filters, and I bet you'll find it there.

I find MC oil & filters at Walmart every time I need them. Autozone has them too, but you'll have to find them yourself by browsing the shelf. The clerks are clueless.

You can usually get the Motorcraft at the Walmart as mentioned. A good parts store filter brand is Wix.
