Thanks bud! Currently getting the fenders painted and then need to remove the bypass rack to remove the bed to install the bedsides. Until then I'll be working on my dad's f150, he's neglected it quite a bit. Had it sitting for almost a year. Plans are to add deavers +3 in the rear, since it'll lift it up I'll get 1" drop shackles and a 3 in lift up front to level it all out. Not sure on wheels though

I just wish there was an affordable way to have good headlights Not looking to cheap out but even after installing 12awg relay harness and philips bulbs my 2011 still disappoints. With fresh bulbs and good aim they are pretty decent but the bulbs age very quickly with the higher voltage the harness allows.

buy the ebay OEM-style lights. open them up and insert EVO X-R 2.0 projectors, wiring, ballast, bulbs and whatever else you want. should be roughly $500-600 or so.

I wouldn’t say budget, but by far the best modification I’ve done.

Here’s a good output comparison! Draw your own conclusions! Kevin at Eastern Shore Retro’s is awesome to deal with as well!

Thanks for the link. But does anyone have any down the road comparison pics.

There is a place near Seattle selling the xb's for $975 but some people complain about low light output.

Thanks

Ok I got them and installed them. I like them. I had 50w FX-R retrofits before and in my opinion they are just as bright, maybe a little less but the light is definitely there. The DRL is awesome and very bright. The housing is top quality and the fit and finish is perfect. At first, and by themselves I thought they looked too busy but on my truck I think they look really good. I like that it's all plug and play and doesn't need any splicing, tapping, or giant wire harness except for the fuse piggyback for the DRL which is really simple. Now with the good comes the bad. Aiming the beams sucks. The lows and high adjust independantly and are adjustable left/right as well which means 4 *****. Adjusting the low beams vertically can be done like oem lights but it's not smooth or easy. To aim the high beams you have to take the light out, fiddle with it and put it back until you get it right. Overall though, I'm happy to have them.

Those look great on your truck! That’s my favorite FX grille too! I’ll be getting them very soon!
