Morimoto XB LED headlights
So since they are officially out I was wondering if anyone has them? are they worth it? are they better then a OEM HID retrofit?

I’m curious too, I think they look awesome but want to see comparison to Factory HID’s before I pull the trigger. Can’t wait for Diode Dynamics to hurry up and come out with the SS3 Pro fogs that are direct fit either!

I purchased the Morimotos Two Stroke 2.0 from The Retrofit Source. They are a really nice option for regular halogen beams. The light is very white and bright. Not a blueish light and certainly not yellowish. I had to adjust the bulbs by rotating until they were perfectly vertical, and not upside down. Then I had to adjust the angle of my headlight housings so I wasn't blinding oncoming traffic. I'm really pleased. I have purchased other LEDs and they had so much light dispersion, I was constantly blinding oncoming cars, not so with the Morimotos.
I'm not sure where all you get purchase the Morimotos. The Retrofit Source is difficult to communicate with. The shipped timely enough, but forget trying to speak with a person. They will return emails, sometimes faster than other times. I'd give the bulbs a 8-9 and The Retrofit Source a 4.

The thread is talking about the Morimoto XB LED headlights housings that replace the entire headlight that has three low beam LED projectors and a separate LED high beam and an integrated turn signal and DRL’s in them.

i must be one of the few who doesnt like the DRL bar or the 3 low beams. i like the single and using switchbacks in the turnsignal. it looks cleaner. But this is what the market and trends demands.
