I'm ordering a programmer and can't decide between 5 star and MPT. Hoping someone here has experience with both and can share their experience.

Another thing, MPT (and pretty much every tuner) has seperate tunes for towing and performance while 5 star is a performance/tow tune. Any reason behind this? I can't see how I would have optimal performance and towing in the same tune.

I've had several tunes from both and I prefer the 5 star tunes.

I have an MPT tune and while it did wake it up, idk how to feel about it. If I'm coasting say at 60 and go pedal to the metal, it jerks back real hard (not a good jerk)

I think that's to do with your transmission. Mine does the same thing. It's actually going to the dealer on saturday for that problem. Every time I coast then hit the gas I get a jerk.

Unleashed is better than both, I have the ecoboost and my pick up would fall on its face with the 5 star, the mpt tune was good, but the unleashed tune out performs them all with no inconsistencies.

Let me know how the tune works for your 3.7

I hear these 1-3MPG gains and my eyes get all nice and big!

Not many reviews on tuning the 3.7
