That what I do spring through fall and any warm winter days. Saves a bunch of gas money so long as i don't buy rear tires for the bike.

I had one till I got hit last year and I was in a wheelchair for almost 3 months. So that is still a sore subject with the wife and daughter.

Just put new plugs in at 101,000 miles thought I would see if they helped mpg. Drove to Jackson Mississippi around 300 miles. On the way there I drove 70 to 80. Mileage was around 14.8. On the way back I never went over 1750 rpms. Around 65 mph. Got 17.2

Prefer riding my Harley.

I don't see any roi on any money spent to gain mpg. Think about it .

What did you get?
With that kind of MPG I suspect a Honda 70.

Brand new Honda Spirit 750....last bike was an ACE 1100
I saw the blue flame & that was it....purchased it....I was just "looking"
Its rated at 56 mpg, still breaking it in so mpg may increase some
But they said there really isn't much of a break in any more
Swapped the mirrors, installed some LED pods, then speakers -use an old phone for tunes
Fuel injected, no more Carbs !!
My 1st MC was a Honda 100 = ~98 mpg....they've come a long way

Cool, my wife and I have Virago 1100s and get 53 to 57 mpg pretty regularly.
Also got smeared on Sept 29, broken ankle and crushed knee. I'll be back on 2 wheels in April.

Best adjustment for fuel economy for my driving, move the seat back 1" and use cruise control.

Hooked up and heading to Tobermorry, ON
