Question Which models with the EcoBoost?

Has anyone heard which of the F150 models are going to offer the EcoBoost when it comes out? I keep looking on the "build" section for the truck but Ford still has not placed that option on the site yet. I believe that those engines are due out in late winter or early spring???

I'm not sure if all trims are gonna have the eco boost, but I test drove the xlt, lariat and the platinum with the eco boost engine

Looks like a pretty impressive 6.2-litre Triton 2011 Ford F-150 EcoBoost

So...all models except the STX.

The REAL question is....what will the run-of-the-mill dealer selection look like? In other words, what will Ford be shipping once the EcoBoost is readily available? I am sure a lot of owners that ORDER new trucks will check the EB box, but....I am real curious as to what will be shipping come...oh, July of 2011.

i beleive from what i have read and what it shows on the f150 build page is the king ranch and above will be the only ones witht the ecoboost for 2011. maybe they will put it in diffrent trim packages in 2012 and all of them by 2013

Ford's website doesn't show it available for any engine but according to what i read all models will have it as an optional engine to the 5.0. The 6.2 will only be available in the top-of-the-line Lariat, Raptor and Harley

According to this article, the big V8 is only available as an option on the top-of-the-line Lariat (as well as the Raptor and Harley models) while the 3.5 EcoBoost is optional on all models —XL, XLT, FX and Lariat — other than the STX.

Yet all the published info is incorrect to what the dealership just told me. They just were put through new model training.

According to my dealer for 2011 the EcoBoost will only be in the Lariat, KR, Platinum? and Limited. It will not be in the XLT, FX2, XL until 2013/14 model year.

Additionally 2011 will only see the ecoboost in 4% of total production trucks.

Usually I'd say the press has it right but in this case with Ford's recent overall game plan being to do phased introduction of all their new engineering (ie think how the intro of Sync was handled) I think the dealer has it right.
