Modding
I've had my new truck for about 4 days now, and I've already spent several hours digging through websites looking at prices for mods.
So far , here is what I have planned:
4 in lift: Rancho or Zone (BDS if I can find a lower price)
18" Wheels: Leaning towards something from Ultra Rims. I dont really want to go up to 20", and really dont want a 12 wide
35" Tires: Toyo's would be awesome (although expensive), but also looking at aggressive BFG's or Nitto's
Exhaust: Still haven't gotten straight on this, but the two contenders are Roush or Magnaflow. Probably going to dump it instead of going with a full back with tips.
Several other minor mods come to mind, but the main problem I'm having is I dont know where to start lol. So tell me, where did you guys start? Also (since I've never really done any modding to a truck before) if you have any product insight (brand superiority etc) wisdom that you can throw at me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

research.... 4"-6" lifts require cutting on sub frame... and most recommend 8" wide wheels... so go on the manufacturer's website and DL the instructions and find out what the requirements. BDS seems to be the preferred lift brand even with their ridiculous over pricing because of their no BS warranty... However Rough Country offers same warranty for a ton less money. I recommend you get 2.5 level or bilstien shocks and throw some 35's on and see of you like it before you spend $1300+ on a 4-6" lift. Levels/small lifts runs less than 250 bucks at the high end. I would start with a GOTS mod and exhaust... then lift(level) and some tires... Aftermarket rims present a different problem as well because you run into offset/back spacing issues. I have no info for you on that however there are about a million posts on this website about it... even a stickied thread at the top about what everyone is running.
What are some specs on the truck?
All mine is on a 12 ecoboost fx4 ccsb truck is in my sig.
I started with a rough country 2.5 level on stock 20 inch rims and 33 inch mud grapplers. Did all recon lighting and put a sct programmer. Tinted windows, wired in a system and debadged rear decals.
I'm running a 20x10 wheel on a 6 inch lift with 35 inch tires.
Got the lift installed for 1800 it's a rough country. Call around to local lift shops and some in close towns and get prices and see who can beat the competitor.
Check on Craigslist and find tires a hell of a lot cheaper. I got 3 35/12.50/R20 for $550 out of a town an hour away and they all 3/4+ tread and had another 35 at the house to make me a set.
Rims are also on Craigslist but I bought those new from discount tire. 20x10 fuel hostages.

2013 F150 Eco boost Super Crew XLT 4x4
I started with the tuner and custom tunes which made a huge difference as I knew I was going to put on a level and bigger tires and will be able to use programmer to adjust computer.
I just did the Bilstein level and put it at 2.25 which puts my truck level. It was about $633 for parts and install as I didn't want to mess with it as I live in a town house. I could have done it and saved money but they did the install and alignment for $300.
I plan on tires and rims next then exhaust.

After deliberation I've decided to go with:
2" Zone lift
17" Rockstar machined (was either these or addicts, and the wife liked these. Hopefully they'll look good)
33" Toyo MT's
Will post before/after pics tomorrow night probably. Now all I have to do is find an ecoboost cat back exhaust and I'll be set for a while.
