I am leaving the name of the company I ordered from giving them a chance tomorrow to fix it when a supervisor is in...

I ordered a lift kit last week for XXXXXXXX company, they processed the order, charged my credit card, and shipped out the lift the next day. According the tracking delivery it was delivered on Friday.. Order never came, I waited until yesterday afternoon still no kit. I called them and they said there is nothing he could do.. except call FedEx who said their tracking site said it was delivered in front of my garage. The guy from XXXXXXX told me his hand were tied and its up to the supervisor to send out another kit or refund the purchase, but it is unlikley due to the tracking site showing delivered.

I am going to call in the morning but right now I am out $1,300 with no lift kit.

How would YOU handle this situation?

Talk to the super before you call your credit card and cancel the payment

Is it possible someone stole it from in front of you're garage? Not that fed ex couldn't have screwed up but a 300 lbs pallet of boxes is kinda hard to not notice is still in the back of your tractor trailer.

Find out how they packaged it? My friends came in the back of an 18-wheeler on a pallet. Harder to steal then a bunch of boxes but still easily possible.

I'm honestly surprised they dropped it off without someone there to sign for it.

Unfortunately it's not on the business, they shipped it and got a confirmation it was delivered.


I would contact the shipping company ASAP and deal with them on it. Was it insured?

I would contact fedex, I had a similar issue, turns out the driver delivered it to the wrong street. good news they were able to find which street through gps

Call up FedEx and get them to make it right. The business that shipped it did their part and FedEx screwed up.

Yep get on the horn with FedEx... I'm betting they either delivered to the wrong address or that someone stole it

An item that expensive should have had someone sign for it I would go through fed ex I'm betting the company won't do much it's in fed ex hands now.

Should have been insured and required a signature at delivery. Lots of things come up missing if not.

I had an item that was ordered last year. FedEx showed they dropped if off at my house and I never received it. Call the company that I bought it from and they said they shipped it and nothing they could do about it. Called FedEx and they said they did exactly what it showed on the online tracker. I chalked it up to someone stole it off my front porch and I even contacted the cops about it. 2 weeks later I come home from work and find my package. It was unopened and somehow was lost or delivered to the wrong address. If I were you I'd get on the horn with fed ex and ask what's up.
