I understand that there are no FRONT facing turn signals, just rear facing. I was just saying it in general....i was just wondering if there were wire in the mirror to plug and play the rear facing turn signal and then I could tap off of that for the front turn signal mod.

No rear signal, no wires in mirror. Only at the plug, at the door. You'll have to tap there

I just did a bunch of mirror work to my new 2013 FX4. I wanted the new Super Duty style tow mirrors that come with the trailer tow package but I wanted the 5.0. Cant get both! So I ordered the mirrors separate (very expensive) I installed but needed to do some re-wiring to get the parking lights to work as the original mirrors didn't have parking lights. Anyway check out the two attachments, they are jpg's of the wiring pinouts on the mirror connections. Hope this helps, thanx

I wonder if the dealer switched out the mirrors for another customer? As stated, it is weird that your model didn't come with the rear turn signal as the step up from the XLT? My XLT has them so I wonder if the dealer made a deal with someone on a STX ot XL to upgrade their mirrors and just borrowed them off your truck and then they forgot to replace them when you bought the truck?? Worth checking with the dealer and have them show you any FX that doesn't have the rear facing turn signal? Maybe there is a reason but I assume somewhere there is a screw up!

Ok, I do remember wanting the heated mirrors and had to get a convenience package to get them which I think was like 995.00!
