I have a 2013 FX4 that does not have front or rear blinker on my side view mirror. I want to install lights on the front and back......since there is not any lights existing, do I need to pull wire to my mirrors?

I can not find the turn signal part number...can someone please help

You have two options buy the required parts, remove mirror glass and make your connections! As the turn signal wires should be inside the mirror!

Or buy oem mirrors off the for sale section on the forum or ebay, and they'll be plug n play! That way you can also gain Puddle Lamps if they're on the mirrors you purchase!

I also can't believe your 13' FX didn't already come with the rear facing oem led blinkers, as my 12 XLT did! Thats odd, as the FX is one trim level up from the XLT!

yea that doesn't make sense that they don't have the front blinker. unless there's an option for some to not have them?

I've only saw it once on ebay, try calling your dealer! I can't see it being more than a $25 part!

Also none of the trims come with forward facing Blinkers, just the reflector only! Anyone, like myself who has them ( Anzo's) Have added the Feature!

You can find them on ebay Super Cheap now! Vs the $55 I and most op have paid in the past, when they first hit the scene!

So I am looking at this on the ford website;

But it specifically says: "Once added, the Trailer Tow Mirrors will maintain those features that were originally offered with vehicle. For instance, the heated feature will only work if the mirrors originally on the customers vehicle had that feature"

From what I have read so far, all mirrors are wired for everything, and they are plug and play. So why is the above quote applicable?

If so I have to follow the harness all the way back to the connector and figure out the wiring....thanks for look'n into it.

There are no FRONT facing turn signals oem. Only rear facing. If you have a blackout spot where the rear facing turn signal normally would be, there is no wiring in the mirror itself for it. However, the wiring is at the door.

Meaning, if your truck only had power adjust, and heat. And you install, a power adjust, heated mirror with turn signals and puddle lights, it will all work plug n play. Mine did. But I added a climate control with the mirror defrost.

I understand that there are no FRONT facing turn signals, just rear facing. I was just saying it in general....i was just wondering if there were wire in the mirror to plug and play the rear facing turn signal and then I could tap off of that for the front turn signal mod.
