Ya I know. I have the xlt. I had a 2000 f150 I bought new and traded it for this one. My 2000 had center console. 13 years with one. I had to do this.

Just got my new console put in ! No problems! Had to drill holes but no big deal! Love it

Ford should look at this thread and make it easier on people that want to do this by making an entire console available as an assembly.

On a side note....I had been telling people that this was the best mod I've done to my F-150....Now that is no longer the case! Factory Remote start is the best $349 I have spent.

Where did you get it and what are the part #'s? Is it the separate remote style or on the key style fob?

Has anyone done or thought of using one of the non flow through type consoles (raptor, lariat, platinum) to replace the jump seat? I know most, if not all, have the floor shifter holes but it would be possible to just make that a little tray or something. I've just found raptor ones cheaper on ebay then the flow through consoles and I like the look better. I kind of feel the flow through consoles look just a tad odd, but not bad in any way. I may just go the same route as everyone else but thought i'd ask.

I wish I had the tools and ability to fabricate a 3" base under the console with a sliding door that you could lock.
