Settle down. I wasn't calling you out or anything. I was just saying comparing M/T's and A/T isn't a fair comparison.

I have about 5k miles on my set of ATZ's. Running them at 38 psi. Initially they were a little louder than I thought they would be. Nice hum from 40-55 mph. On interstate at speeds above 65 mph they aren't loud at all. The ride stiffened up quite a bit, but they are E rated tires. Not a harsh ride, but exactly what was expected with that load range. Can feel just a little vibration from the lugs as you come almost to a stop. Picking up rocks really hasn't been an issue as I haven't seen many in the tread or heard the loud pop of one slinging out at highway speeds. I really haven't found any negative issues with the tires except I wish the sidewall was a little more aggressive. Great tire that I would buy again.

I can't really compare them to the other choices as it's been a long time since I had BFG's. As for road noise, I would suspect they are somewhere in the middle between the BFG and Toyo.

I wasn't aggitated. I'm sorry if my text came out in that way. One thing about the forums, sometimes words are taken the wrong way.

I guess my point was the atz tire is in between an a/t and a m/t. Otherwise I agree with your statement. Apples to oranges.

I just don't think they will fit with their side biters being so big. Second choice is the Baja ATZ.
I just cant find any good reviews and the ones I do find are all over the map. Third choice had been my tire of choice for years. The BF Goodrich All Terrain.

I want to know stuff like road noise, and maybe even possible winter traction with the Baja ATZ. Any other info will help.

Thanks
My buddy is running ATZ and they're are not too good in snow and ice.

When riding in his truck, I agree on the hard ride and the slow driving vibration. Didn't notice it being very noisy.

In my opinion (not just cause its mine) the goodyear wrangler duratracs are way nicer and awesome in winter.

It was a toss up for me between the two... But the snowflake rating on mine and the aggressive look did it for me.

So you picked the GoodYear DuraTrac over the ATZ?? That is another option for me but I am maybe even thinking of running a winter tire in winter. So maybe ATZ in the summer and DuraTracs in the winter. I have ran the BFG's in the winter and loved them. I am looking for something more aggressive for the summer. The one thing I hear over and over again is how long the ATZ lasts. I have had mixed results with the BFG All Terrains but love the look of them. Thanks for all replies. Can anyone post some pics of the ATZ on their F150??

Just a reminder... The duratracs are still a/t all season tires. So I wouldn't use them as winter tires, instead of blizzaks or something... If you're going to spend the money, buy real winter tires. Even thought the duratracs are awesome in winter, the wont out perform blizzaks...

Wow ceb those tires look really sharp on your truck. What size of tire is that? Is your truck stock suspension also?

Goalie25, I know the Duratracs are not winters and wont be as good as a blizzak but I dont think a blizzaks will do very good for wear with the amount I pull. My plan was siping some BFGs for winter then running either the Toyo MT or Mickey Thomson ATZ in the summer. Now thanks to ceb I am pretty sure it will be the ATZ in the summer. The Duratrac seems to be the new go to tire for all around so maybe I will sipe a set and use those for winter. Thanks again for all the help.

35/12.5 on stock 20" wheels. 2.5" front leveling spacer with 3" rear replacement block. Sorry that the crappy iPhone pics aren't the best.
