Default Michelin 33" or Nitto 34" for new FX4

Just got a new FX4 and installed a 2" leveling kit. Need to fill up the wells now! The best 2 options so far are the Michelin ltx at2 (33") which would add about 1 inch compared to the original pirellis or the Nitto Terra Grapplers which would add just over 2 inches. If you have any opinions or experience, I would sure appreciate it. Looks, ride, longevity etc....

Thanks!

i say neither. go BFG A/T's they will easily go 80,000 miles with proper rotations and air pressure.

Those michelins are amazing tires. My dad and grandpa run them.

I will be putting a 275/70/18 bfg at/ko tho.

IMO it all depends on your use of the truck. The michelins are great if it's mostly highway and some dirt roads. They are also great in the rain

I'd look at the Toyo Open Country A/T's as well. Have had great luck with them.

I put the King Coil-Over shocks cranked up 2 inches and 1.5 inch drop shackles in the rear.....I am running the 285-75-17 (34.2) Toyo Open Country M/T And I love the look. The tires tuck nicely, I had to do a little trimming of the inner fender wells but no metal.....I love it. I will post pics later

Is the Toyo a better tire than Nitto? I know they're both owned by the same company. I had the Michelins on my 08 Tundra, and they were great, but I am definitely considering the Nittos due to the additional 1" in size.

I agree with dejong1 that Michelins are great on the highway.

I have Nitto TG's because I needed a good off-road tire. Very happy with the performance and love the look. I have 285/55r20's on stock FX wheels.

My Nittos just came in today, I'll get them mounted tomorrow. 295/60/20 can't wait to see how they look. They are huge!!!
