that's pretty perfect IMO. I think I may be going the same route when I need tires sometime next year. I'll also be doing the level at the same time. any difference from stock suspension to the 5100's?

If your wondering

275/55R20 = 31.90X10.83
275/60R20 = 32.99X10.83
275/65R20 = 34.07X10.83

I have the Michelin ltx at2s on my superduty. They are great street tires. Quiet, durable and at 40,000miles they look great, especially with 30,000 miles of towing. How ever, their off road traction leaves much to be desired.

I couldn't be happier with the tire set up. I didn't want the weight of an LT.
It's tough to make a direct comparison of the 5100's to stock in regard to ride quality becasue I never had the 5100's on the OEM Bridgestone tire, or had the OEM shock on with the Toyo's. Here are my observations though:
1. Medium to severe bumps feel more harsh at impact with the Toyo/5100 setup than with the OEM tire/shock setup.
2. The truck seems to stabilize/recover from those same bumps quicker with the Toyo/5100 setup, which I like.
3. Even with the slightly taller Toyos and the front 5100's set to 1.5" of lift, the truck feels more stable in the corners with the Toyo/5100 setup than the OEM.

I ended up going with the 275/55R20 cause of the price, 150 less than going larger.

How many people do an alignment? They are recommending a 4 wheel alignment at the local ford dealer where I'm getting my tires.

Default LTX AT/2's

I ran a set of the LTX AT/2's on my Sportrac until they were almost bald. They handled the sands at OBX and winter snow in Maryland without any issues. They don't have an aggressive looking tread, but that is not a good indicator of how they perform. Unless you are driving your truck at the extremes they should be a good tire for you. Good tire for all around use.
