I have been driving F 350 4x4 Powerstroke diesels since 1996 My first one amazingly had 3.55 gears. I put 35's on it and had to take it back for 32"s. It would not pull 35's. I live in Fl flat land and it would down shift on the turnpike at 70 mph on a bridge.

Roughly 410 gears with 35's will put it back to 3.73 which is fine. My FX with Raptor tires and wheels is a pig with 3.73 gears. Always in way to high of a gear. It killed the throttle response as have every truck I have owned with high gear ratio.

Anyway, that's not the point of my post. I want 4.10 gears, so I will be back to 3.73 with 35's. Can't even imagine 35's with 3.55 gears. Like I said, it's why the Raptor has 4.10 gears

I'm pretty sure to return your truck back to "stock" performance your gonna want a bit more than some 4.10's. You're better off with some 4.56's or even 4.88's.

I guess I just didn't notice... My truck drives fine and all I notice is 1-2 mpg less avg. good luck with your gears.

Tune it and adjust the tire size. That will more than make up for the larger tires on an EB.
