Totally agree. I just don't get it. Sure if you had to replace for one reason or another anyway and the price was somewhat comparable, but that is just insanity. A fool and their money are soon seperated I suppose

Not that I would spend that kind of hard earned cash on this kind of upgrade but is this a simple plug and play mod for our 10-12 year models? Maybe in time we will see a set of these at lower prices...

Its technically not plug and play, but its not hard to wire them in. Light output is significantly better than stock 12 and older though.

I guess I don't know why people are so surprised by the price. someone decided to smash the driver side headlight in my 2008 Subaru STI and the replacement was $710.
as for why people are willingly forking over so much... I never understood it either until I got something with factory HIDs. now I hate not having them.

Not that surprised by the price of the new HIDs, but the driver side lens has a scratch in the middle of it. Read the description of the sale. Wonder what the price would be without any scratches.
