Heller in elpaso. Might be biggest f-series dealer downstate now that I think about it

I love the tow mirrors functionally but hate the looks of them.

that seems like an odd exclusion. Wonder why they did that. I love the backup camera

On our trips with the truck and TT, we try to count the Max Tow trucks we see whenever we pass a Ford dealership....yes, there typically are darn few on the lots.
And I agree with the poster who stated that, with the advertised tow ratings, I am unsure why the dealers stock so few. It seems like if a customer wanted to tow a nice TT, that is the first option they should look for.

With the advertised towing of 11K, I don't think a lot of folks even think to ask for it and just assume that is what they are getting. And the sales guys are no help in that regard as they will gloss over it or lie (or are ignorant), just to sell what they have. When I bought my truck, the sales guy said they didn't have any. I checked inventory online before I went and knew the only two they had were the candy red and sapphire blue, so I was able to walk him right over to them.

I ended up driving about 3 hours to find a max tow that also had the lux items I wanted AND the Eco.

Well worth it but I was pretty shocked they weren't readily available

Glad to know you do this too........the mirrors are hard to spot at higher speeds though....I find that 45 mph is about ideal....

They are even harder to fund used. When we were looking when one would pop up it was gone in a matter of days. Especially the more loaded ones that the dealer advertised Max Tow!

I lucked into mine - the dealer didn't have it listed as max tow and the owner had the mirrors swapped for the regular ones. But the online window sticker (as well as the one he left in the glove box) said it did indeed have Max Tow. So we scooped it up!

Camera was only available with the chrome package & you couldn't get that with the 7 lug wheels.
