Max Tow Availability
Is Ford still rolling F150s off the line that have the Max Tow, 3.73, SCrew?
I am having a hard time finding one here in the Northeast. Looking at either the Kodiak w/ two tone or Black w/ two tone.
How long is the wait if I have to order one?
Thanks for the help.

Yes ford is still producing them. If you look at the average sale, most customers buy trucks without the max tow package. So dealers will not stock them in since they aren't a high seller. If you can order one directly through ford and takes about. 6-8 weeks.

When I bought my truck I went to the biggest selling f-series dealer in Illinois. Out of 75ish trucks on the lot they had 1 max tow. They had to get my truck from another dealer. For all the advertising they do about tow ratings its awfully hard to find a truck on the lot with that package

The dealer picked up my truck from a dealer in Michigan. It was better waiting 1 week for delivery rather than 6-8.

It is weird that more don't have it. I don't think tit changes the ride much, it only adds a small amount to the cost and gives you more payload and more towing.
Only negative is the Dumbo mirrors, but like the previous owner did on mine, he swapped them.

At first I thought I would like the tow mirror but now I love them. The visibility is great and the adjustment range is huge. Wouldn't swap them out for anything except maybe the power fold version.
